Biteback is a student run voluntary organisation based at the The University of Sheffield that offers support and information for students affected by eating disorders.

They contacted us as they needed a website that was simple for them to update and maintain, but also included news feed, event calendar and file upload functionality. Their existing website was proving difficult to keep up to date and they needed to get their site refreshed before the start of the new academic year so a new run of publicity items could be created with their new details on.

Because they had a new logo design and a very good idea of the content of the site already, it was a very quick build, allowing us to turn around the site from a number of simple sketches to a fully completed site in a few weeks. We also handled the domain registration, email and website hosting for them as part of the package.

Over all, it was a very quick and enjoyable project. Although having a clear of idea of what you want within your site makes the process quicker, it certainly isn’t mandatory for a successful project. Protective Security Solutions website

We were recently approached by a security training company to rebuild their website. Protective Security Solutions had a basic site on Blogger but they wanted something that looked more professional. They were referred to us by one of our previous customers, so hopefully that means we’re doing things right. We designed and built their new website and have given them the ability to edit their own content – given that they regularly add courses to their portfolio, this was an important factor for them. We also got a nice message from their CEO when we launched their site, saying they wished they’d approached us to build their first site.

The design of the site is also a bit different. They didn’t want a bright coloured site but instead wanted a grey tone to get the seriousness of their business over to their visitors. A screen shot can be seen below:

Hallamshire Golf Website Relaunch

We are pleased to announce we have built a new verison of the Hallamshire Golf website.

We’ve migrated their website into an easy to use CMS, allowing their own team to update the site with pictures and news updates whenever they want.
