Find out who’s using your website
Understanding who is visting your website and what pages they view is crucial in helping you provide a better a service. For example, if you make your users go through two or more pages in order to reach their goal (for example, select and complete the purchase of your products or services) then you should want to know how many users clicked on the first page and then how many of those went on to the second and then third page. This could help you determine where in the users journey that you are losing visitors if they don’t go on to complete their goal on your site. For example, a lot of your users might click on page 1 of 3 to purchase one of your products, but then you might see that only 20% of those users go on to page 2. This would suggest to you that page 2’s marketing messages need optimising to keep your users interested and wanting to go to the final page to reach their (and your) goal.
We can provide you with reports about your website to help you understand more about what pages people are visiting and, more importantly, what pages they are not going to. We can also help you see where your visitors are coming from – for example, whether they are coming from a Google search page, or another particular website that links to your site in some way.
If you need to understand your visitors in order to optimise your site’s content and design then get in touch, we’ll be glad to help you with this and any other internet related topic.
